Artemia salina
Brine shrimp are small branchiopod crustaceans, around a centimetre long, adapted to water too salty for most animals. They swim on their backs using leaf-like limbs that serve for both movement and feeding. Their dormant cysts are harvested in bulk as feed for aquaculture.
