Field profile

The clouded leopard is a medium-sized forest cat named for the large cloud-shaped blotches on its coat. It has the longest canine teeth relative to skull size of any living cat and exceptional climbing ability. It sits outside both the big cats and the small cats, in its own genus at the base of the Pantherinae.
