Sphyrna mokarran
The great hammerhead is the largest hammerhead, reaching well over five metres, with a nearly straight front edge to its head and a tall, sickle-shaped first dorsal fin. It is a solitary hunter and a specialist on stingrays. Unlike its schooling relatives it is rarely seen in groups.
