Great White Shark

Field profile

The great white is the largest predatory fish, with mature females commonly exceeding five metres. It hunts seals, sea lions and other sharks at productive coastal aggregation sites, and undertakes long oceanic migrations between them. Its serrated triangular teeth and heavy build separate it from every other lamnid shark.
