Grevy's Zebra

Grevy's zebra is the largest wild equid, taller and narrower-striped than the plains zebra, with large rounded ears and a white belly. Unlike other zebras it does not form permanent family groups; adult males hold territories and females move freely between them. Its range has contracted sharply, and most of the surviving population lives in northern Kenya.
