Harpy Eagle

Field profile

One of the heaviest eagles in the world, grey and white with a divided crest and enormous feet. It hunts inside and beneath the forest canopy, taking sloths and monkeys from branches. Broad wings and a long tail give it manoeuvrability rather than speed.
