Mugger Crocodile

The mugger is a broad-snouted freshwater crocodile of the Indian subcontinent, reaching around three to four metres. It is unusually tolerant of artificial waterbodies, living in reservoirs, irrigation canals and village tanks. It digs burrows for shelter and can move overland between drying waters.
