Crocodylus novaeguineae
The New Guinea crocodile is a moderate-sized freshwater crocodile, usually under three and a half metres, of inland swamps north of New Guinea's central range. It is managed through a village-based skin trade in Papua New Guinea. Its southern counterpart was recognised as a separate species in 2019.
