Northern Quoll

The northern quoll is the smallest of the Australian quolls, a nocturnal carnivore weighing under a kilogram. It eats insects, small vertebrates and fruit, and shelters in rock crevices and tree hollows. Its populations have collapsed across much of the north following the arrival of cane toads.
