Thylogale thetis
The red-necked pademelon is a small forest macropod with reddish fur across the neck and shoulders and a short, thick tail. It shelters in dense forest by day and moves out to feed on grass at the forest edge after dark. It is smaller and stockier than a wallaby, with a body built for pushing through undergrowth.
