Sand Tiger Shark

The sand tiger shark is a heavy, slow-swimming coastal shark reaching about three metres, with ragged protruding teeth that give it a fearsome look and a mild disposition. It is a mainstay of public aquariums. It has the lowest reproductive rate of almost any shark.
