Vietnamese Mossy Frog

Field profile

A green and black frog whose skin is covered in tubercles and irregular ridges that mimic clumps of moss on wet rock. It is semi-aquatic and often found in flooded limestone cavities. Breeding takes place in small water bodies inside caves and tree hollows.
